Cookie Policy

Updated: September 8, 2026

This Policy describes which cookies the Velours website uses, what they're for, and how you can manage your settings.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They help the site remember your actions and settings, and analyze traffic.

Which cookies we use

We use three categories of cookies:

  • Essential — ensure the basic operation of the site (e.g. remember your choice in the cookie banner) and cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site (Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, Plerdy). Set only with your consent.
  • Marketing — used to show relevant ads and measure their effectiveness (Meta/Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel). Set only with your consent.

Legal basis

In accordance with Article 173 of the Polish Telecommunications Law and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), analytics and marketing cookies are set only after obtaining your consent via the banner on the site. You can withdraw your consent at any time by changing the settings in the cookie banner or in your browser settings.

Retention period

The file with your consent settings is stored in the browser for 180 days. Retention periods for third-party cookies (analytics, advertising) are determined by the policies of the relevant services (Google, Meta, TikTok, Hotjar, Plerdy).

Managing cookies

You can change your decision at any time by clearing the site's cookies in your browser settings, or restrict or fully block cookies via your browser settings. Please note: disabling essential cookies may disrupt the site's normal operation.
